A magnificent view of Flinders Street Station in 1916, looking east along Flinders Street. Beyond the Station, you can see the MCG, across to Richmond and the big properties of South Yarra.
Melbourne has had a love affair with Flinders Street Station since it was completed in 1910. It's hard to believe that in the 1970s there was a serious proposal to demolish it.
