A photo of Bendigo from 1874 looking along Mundy Street, with from the left - the butchers Goudge Bros. - Importers of Fancy Goods, J.J. Cohen - Black Swan Hotel (still standing and operating), and across Mundy Street is the Niagara Hotel building (needing some loving care nowadays). Further down Mundy Street with its flag flying is the MUIOOF Building. Across the street on the far right is the Courthouse Hotel (still standing). Further down the road is the Theatre Royal.
