1920s Collins Street looking west

MI_1177

A photograph of Collins Street looking west from Russell Street towards Spencer Street around 1920.

We see a busy street, both on the footpaths and on the road. Cable trams, hansom cabs, horse drawn drays, automobiles and pedestrians are all moving in different directions. The speed of life back then was quite different to modern day.
