The notes from the State Library tell us that this image is an "elevated view, of Collins Street from the Town Hall, ca. 1883. Shows buildings including Foster & Martin Photographers, S. Mullen Books & Stationery, and Haigh Brothers. Horse drawn carriages can be seen on road to left and parked at roadsides".
