Description
This view of Pall Mall, from Giles's Commercial Hotel on the corner of Bull Street, was taken by Charles Bayliss in 1874.
Looking eastward along Pall Mall we see a mix of small retail and hotel establishments, until we reach the 3-storey Shamrock Hotel, on the corner of Williamson Street. The highly recognisable City Family Hotel is at the far right of the photograph.
